The studios will be closed for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day and Easter, usually as observed by area public schools. These holidays, as well as any extra rehearsal times, are taken into consideration when calculating tuition- no further discounts or adjustments will be taken. Other school-free days such as teacher planning days will not disrupt the regular scheduled classes. In case of severe weather or hurricanes, the studio may make the decision to close based on the particular conditions in our area at the time. We will try to leave a message on the studio's answering machine and/or website. In event of withdrawal, notification must be received in writing.
In order to participate in our annual production, students must be enrolled no later than Oct. 1, 2011 and have continuous enrollment through June 3, 2012 Students enrolling after the beginning of the school year may be required to take additional classes or private lessons to catch up. Good attendance is essential for learning- students with excessive absences may be placed in a lower level class, or may not be eligible to participate in the year-end production.
